Controllers

Leaning
- Left analog stick: Analog backward/forward leaning
- Directional pad: Digital leaning (full power)

Gas & Brake:
- Right analog trigger: Analog gas
- Left analog trigger: Analog brake
- A: Digital gas (full power)
- X: Digital brake (full power)

No separate front/back brakes, as we didn’t want to make the control scheme any more complex. Different bikes have different brake balance and braking power.

Other buttons:
Y = bail out
B = quick restart to last checkpoint
BACK = quick restart track (faster “ready, go!” version)
START = open in-game pause menu

Sounds like an good controller. I’m very curious about the full power “feature”, as it could be real fun to play some level where you only use either full break or full power! Also I’m missing a quick way to change the camera angel, but maybe they’ll use the right and left buttons/bumper for that.

There will be 12 skill levels! Supah fun!

There are 12 different Skill Games in Trials HD. Each with their own leaderboards (with replays) and in-game friend comparision features.

Me and You

So, been a while since I’ve blogged about my life now. Sometimes I don’t feel like talking about myself, but mostly I don’t have the patience to sit down and start writing. The last weeks have been like that. Not sure why that happens, because there have been several occasions where I could just sit down and start to write. I also know that I don’t have to write very long either. It’s not a test or anything like that, but still I don’t take the time to just relax and write. Lately I’ve been feeling, not stressed, but that I have to do something all the time. Like I have to play some 360 or Gamecube, not because I really want to, but because I’ve bought some new games. Guess the collection and not having enough time and interest to play the “new” games tricks with my head.

Speaking of new games, got Viewtiful Joy 2 and Samurai Jack for Gamecube, that puts my Gamecube game collection up to 34! Still a bit to 50 games, but I like how the stack rise! Wonder how much space it would take if I spread them out on my floor. “Anywho”, I had to try them out a little before I could stack them with the others and leave them there till next time I have time to play some games. Samurai Jack was kinda like the series (which I find rather cool), your powerful, quick (at least when you slow down time) and you fight like an real samurai. Think it can be a fun game, because you will learn new combos as you advance through the levels. Also there are some relics you have to pick up and you will get some kind of an bonus. Don’t know yet, as I’ve only played through first level.
Viewtiful Joy 2 was also a fun game. Not sure if I liked the graphical style on it, but the fighting and powers you have and get trough the games, makes it promising. I think I need to play it a bit more in a near future. One of the best trick, is slowing down time. Then you really kick some enemies ass. I really think more games should have slow-motion in some way! Continue reading

BC:Rearmed sale!

The deal of the week for people with gold membership for Xbox Live gets BC:Rearmed for only 400 Microsoft points! That’s a nice price if you ask me. I tried it when it first came out, but didn’t fancy it so much that I wanted to spend 800 points, but now that it’s down to 400. I’m sealing the deal! Looking forward to try it out when all my exams are done. You should also get it, so we can play multi player. Up to four players at once! That’s a lot of swinging men…

It’s “snowing”

Went skiing with my brother and some friends today! It’s wasn’t the best weather, but still a lot of fun! Havn’t been skiing since christmas. I also learned me a new trick, 360! I’m super proud! Never done it on telemark before. “Anywho”, this is just a little filler, since I haven’t posted something in two days. Been a bit busy. Friday I worked as always, and after that I played my first Squash tournament. It was just a small club one, but still a lot of fun and I learened a lot playing with the better players! Yesterday I had a friend over and we made pizza and watched “Stardust”, a different kind of fantasy movie.

And now I’m trying to install Windows 98 on my old computer. Will post some pictures later today!

Two Worlds Royal Edition

Bought a new game today. Wasn’t planned at all, but can’t skip a great deal. So I was just out to get me some new paint brushes, since I’ve started on a new wall painting. Will post some picture of it later this weeks. Going to look really good. So “anywho”, I thought that I should see if the local game shop would get Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad tomorrow, which they won’t since it, but next week he said! Yeah! So while I was looking at other games, I found this “Royal edition” of this game Two Worlds for 99kr (12$). And you can’t say no when it’s that cheap for a _”Royal edition”_ can you?!

Saturday…

Yet another Saturday. The week goes by fast. Nearly to fast. I haven’t been very social this week. Mostly been working on a Java task with binary searctrees and singlyLinkedList. It’s fun, but I can’t quite wrap my head around the search-tree. At least its fun in a very geeky kind of way, but I did have someone over last night. We made dinner and watched a movie. Bank Job, a really cool one. So thumbs up from me. As the dinner goes, we made fish. Not very often I eat it, but it’s okay. We made salomon which is the best of the fishes out there. The funny thing is that now it smell  salomon from my kitchen and frying pan. Going to wash at least the pan real good with some awesome soap. Don’t want the fish taste and smell on my hamburgers I’m making today.

I’m also soon done with my new N+ level. I’m having friend of mine beta test it to see which category it ends up in. I’m thinking medium, but probably hard…Probably post picture about the level tomorrow. His time: 15,82 . My time: 55,30. Can you beat it?

I’ve also played a lot of Skate 2 latly, so much that I’m soon reaching ten thousand gamescore! Hopefully reaching it at the end of this week. “Anywho”, check out some of my cool Skate footage after the more… Planning on making a video of it all, just need to find a good flv to avi converter. Any tips?
