Inspired by my friend Christina, and since this is my first year with Instagram, I want to make a “My year on Instagram”. So keep on reading and see the four best photos of each months.
As I didn’t registered on Instagram before April; January, February, and March are both blank.
So welcome to April, the first picture I’ve added to Instagram.
I started working on my apartment, making it ready for sale.
I also got Rivet Wars in April!
I passed my Scrum Certification exam.

A small post about what I’m up to. Other then university work, I’m working on another heroclix app. launched it earlier this week and got some great feedback on it. Which feels great. I bet, if I got that good feedback on my university task my grades would be higher. Other than that I don’t have time to much else. Played some xbox last weekend. Completed Driver San Fransisco and did all the single player achievements. I also tried the new Bloodrayne, not as good as the two first games. They should had stayed with third person view and not go for the silly side scrolling. A good xbla game I did try was Toy Soldiers Cold War. I even ended up buying it. It combine toys with tower defence and some fps/third person view.
I also added a rainbow image. Its even a double rainbow, but not sure how easy it is to see.
I feel like I mostly start a post being sorry that I don’t post so often, not anymore. I’m not sorry, life just busy. You might wonder what I’ve been up to. The last thing you heard is that I’ve got my tablet. So, I’ve started my Master in Design, Use and Interaction. It’s looking good and I’m taking two course in modeling and system process improvement, plus one in experimental it design. I have also applied for a master thesis about ThingML and Android. Hoping to get that, cause that would be a blast.
I’ve also worked on two more Android apps. One for something called Idéfestivalen, which was a treasure hunt (read: geocaching) app, taking you around campus both on Blindern and in Oslo center. The other was yet another Heroclix app, but this one is focuing on hosting a tournament. So you don’t need to use pen and paper. I also participated at Idefestivalen with Loopy Tangible, the sound machine I’ve mention earlier. Looked like people had fun playing on it. Now we just need to make another one, as it’s getting worn out. People are rough with it. Especially children.
There is also some new photos on my Flickr stream. Some graffiti/stickers, one of a cute robot and one of a strange street art. You should really check the last one out.
As I said yesterday I’ve been home for over two weeks. Right after we got home we went to my cabin (at the lake) and did some painting inside with my brothers. The same day a bomb went of in Oslo and there where a massive massacre at Utøya. I guess you’ve all heard about it (read more at NRK). My condolence goes out to everyone who where by these two incidents.
The week after, on Thursday, my best friend came to visit and we spent the next five days just chilling in my apartment. He bought Infamous 2 as my birthday gift and we beat that game by Sunday and we also played a lot of Magicka (great game). This week I’ve been mostly working on another Heroclix app, and I’ve started working how to renovate my living room. I’ve decided to go for buying Ikea shelfes and covering one of the two walls that need to be reovated. Check out the image at the bottom. Going to be sweet with all the shelf space. I also thorn down some of the wallpaper to see if it was loose, and it was looser then I would have guess. Some of the plaster even gave after. So that put me on another idea, what about revealing the old brick wall underneath? Not a good idea. It took me 30 minutes to tear down the little space over the door and several hours to clean up the dusty mess after. And the result wasn’t very nice. The brick wall wasn’t that good looking. At least that was I think. I sent a photo to my friend and he think it would be cool, I just need to clean it. So we’ll see what I’ll end up doing.
Other then that I haven’t done much, I played some Heroclix of course. There was a new set that had arrived (Captain America), and I won the first sealed tournament. Go me! I also used some days to really clean my apartment. Dusted the whole place plus I cleaned my windows. Hadn’t done that since I moved in, so needed to change the water for every window. It turned black, but now I can finally see out.
I already have the TV-bench.
For the past weeks I’ve gotten comics from a friend of mine which reflect my life spot-on.

Got my Warchmen HeroClix set on Saturday. Its super fun to play with. Dr Manhattan is of course bad ass! So I’m hoping to take some photos of my clix collection later, plus all the other stuff Ive got the last month. Will also put up two “Life of Name” pictures today, as they are already uploaded to Flickr.
Its been a long time since Ive posted something personally and I’m sorry, but I got two reasons for it. One of them is a reason I would call legit and the other one is not as legit. The short one first, which is also the legit one. This semester I’m taking two philosophy classes, which mean that there is a lot curriculum to read, plus Ive been busy with not one, but two mandatory assignment which I am and was supposed to write couple of pages. I handed in my first on two weeks ago, then I got another assignment (not philosophy but programing), and when I handed that one in. I had to start on my third one, which I’m working on right now. This one is due to Monday, and I’m half way through. Hoping to get done before the weekend. We’ll see.
So, now you probably wondering what my other reason for not blogging is. As you maybe know, I played World of Warcraft some years ago. And now Ive started to play again. It all started with a friend of mine introducing me to World of Warcraft the trading card game (which is great), it’s kinda like Magic The Gathering but with some other tweaks (everything is “mana”). Then I thought about how I missed WoW and wanted to try to start again. So I bought a month of subscription. I’m having a blast, but it is something hard to control how much I should play. I haven’t even had time to start playing Dead Rising 2 which I bought on Friday. Other then playing WoW, I use my time to play boardgames and a lot of Heroclix. Man, I’m starting to really dig Heroclix! I also waiting to get my Watchmen set in the mail! going to be awesome!
Guess that all I have to say for now. My original idea for this post, was to make a post with pictures of all the stuff I bought the last month and tell you all about it. Still going to take pictures of everything, but not sure how much to write about it. We’ll see. Going to do it when I get the Watchmen set. As not to bore you while you wait for the pictures, I’m going to post cool and interesting stories/images I find on the interweb. Like I did earlier today.
Today I finished my second exam, and I celebrated with relaxing in the sun. Reading a book, “Sputnik Sweatheart” which I mention yesterday. It’s a really good book. On my way to my reading spot I took some “hipster” shots of the park. Enjoy!
