A lovly song for all you blog readers. Enjoy, it’s from the solo album to The Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond, Jr. I just ordered the album myself! Some lovly tunes. Oh, forgot to mention that the album is called Yours To Keep. Found it when I was looking up the song “Your To Keep” for the songweek last week. Funny how one thing can lead to another…

Songweek is over!

Did yo manage to find out which song “I dressed you in her clothes“. Maybe if you have played some Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX on the Dreamcast back in 2000? I have at least. Still playing it, a damn good game if I can use such explicit lyrics! “Anywho”, the band is called Deftones and the song is from the album Around The Fur, you can also hear a acoustic version of the song in the film “Little Nicky” (you should see it!) with Adam Sandler.

This town don’t feel mine
I’m fast to get away-FAR

I dressed you in her clothes
Now drive me far – away, away, away

It feels good to know your mine
Now drive me far – away, away, away
FAR away
I don’t care where just FAR – away [x3]
And I don’t care

FAR – away
And I don’t care where just FAR – away [x3]

I dressed you in her clothes

“Song verse blog title week” (also tagged Songweek) is now over, or soon at least. Last song today (the hardest?), which I will reveal tomorrow. Hope you liked my little “competition”. At least it was fun to me. Let me dig down in my CD collection and pick out some songs I think you all should at least heard to. Later today there will also come a blog with youtube (I think) links to every song, so you can easily hear them. About the themed week, I’m going to continue with that next week (read: tomorrow), with “Munny week” (tagged munnyweek). Which means that I will post a picture of a Munny I’ve found on Flickr! So there is no reason to stop reading this blog at least for another week.

Gamecube case shift

Sold a purple Gamecube to my brother about two weeks ago, but he rather wanted black. So now I finally had the right tool and time to fix it. So here are some photos of how it went. And it went rather well. Everything works. You may be wondering why I just didn’t give him the black one, but that’s because there is something wrong with the laser. So need to change that before I can use it.

So many females, so much inspiration

Yesterdays song was Still Alive written by Jonathan Coulton and sung by Ellen McLain. Can you guess todays song?

This was a triumph.
I’m making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS.
It’s hard to overstate my satisfaction.
Aperture Science:
We do what we must because we can.
For the good of all of us
Except the ones who are dead.

(Chorus 1)
But there’s no sense crying over every mistake
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake
And the science gets done and you make a neat gun
For the people who are still alive.

I’m not even angry.
I’m being so sincere right now.
Even though you broke my heart and killed me.
And tore me to pieces.
And threw every piece into a fire.
As they burned it hurt because
I was so happy for you.

(Chorus 2)
Now these points of data make a beautiful line
And we’re out of beta we’re releasing on time.
So I’m GLaD I got burned think of all the things we learned
For the people who are still alive.

Go ahead and leave me.
I think I prefer to stay inside.
Maybe you’ll find someone else to help you.
Maybe Black Mesa –
THAT WAS A JOKE. HA HA, FAT CHANCE.
Anyway, this cake is great: Continue reading So many females, so much inspiration
