Christmas break!

I’m finally done with my last exam and I feels great. I will try to be better at bloging, but since it’s Christmas and I’m going to be busy chilling and being with family. So might be wondering what I’ve been up to the last month, since I haven’t written anything about my life. I’ve been mostly busy with studying for my exams and playing WoW: Cataclysm. As you may remember, I started playing again. And it’s really fun. There has also been some Heroclixing. Yesterday there was a huge tournament, and it was super fun. won’t be any more playing before the new year I guess.

My android app is going good. There has been over 200 downloads, and now that I’m done with school. I’m going to add some more features before I try to make an similar app for Windows mobile 7. Looking forward to that. That’s all for now. Blog you later.

Neglected

I suddenly realised I had a blog to take care off. For the last four days, I’ve been so busy that I had forgotten my blog. What a shame. So, I guess your all wondering what I’ve been up to. Sadly your not finding it out in this post. It’s to much to write about on my cellphone. Hopefully I will manage to do it tomorrow.

School takes time…

So, I’ve been bad a bloging lately, and I’m sorry. It’s just been so busy at school and in my little spare-time. As I’m taking two philosophy courses, there is plenty to read every week. I’m also playing boardgames every Thursday and HeroClix on Tuesdays. Not sure if I’m going to do that every week, we’ll see.

In other news, Ive bought Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts for my 360. Not really a good game, guess I’m to old to play it. If you want to play a good game, you should check out Dead Rising 2 prologue, Case Zero. That’s one awesome XBLA game! Sadly I don’t have that much to play, I’ve even borrowed Heavy Rain to see if it’s really that good from a friend.  Maybe I’ll have some time to waste this weekend?

I’ve bought some new boardgames, Seaside, which is and awesome expansion for Dominion. Next one I’m getting is the new Prosperity. Hopefully this month!

I think that’s all I’ve got to say now. Hopefully I’ll blog a little bit this weekend. At least after the awesome party this Sunday. Time of the day will be revealed tomorrow! Good night!

Back to school

A new school semester have started. Only one more after this one before I’m done with my bachelor. This year I’m taking two philosopher courses and one Algorithms and data structures course. So going to be a interesting semester. A lot of reading and less programming. Other then school I’m working on different projects, Spoonster figure, one-piece and some other vinyl project. We’ll see which ones who will be finished this year. This is also my 999th post, so next one will be a number and facts post. Thinks that’s all I’ve got to write this time. I don’t feel that much for blogging. Good thing that I’ve arranged a little vinyl week next week. So come back then.

YogiTea of the day: The beat of your heart is the rhythm of your soul.

Wait up, Time!

Been a while since Ive talked about my life, but as one of my new years resolution where to work more with my curriculum, my time just fly by. I’ve also started dancing swing (Rock Step), which is quite fun. I have been dancing before, but the seriousness was as high as it is now.  Now we are practicing on the ground moves, changing places and similar. It’s important to have a good foundation.

I’ve also spent a lot of time with a girl I know.  So little time for my self and my blog. Sadly, but I do try to work on a new banner, which is super hard. It’s not coming up with an idea, that is hard, but to get it from my head or paper. To the computer, still looking as good.

Well, I’m off to bed now, got philosophy eight in the morning. A bit to early, but not much I can do with that. I also need to start on my mandatory task. So good night and sleep well! I know I will…

So what have I been up too

I started school last week, so the last week have been quiet hectic. As one of my new years resolutions is to read more of the curriculum, I’ve been busy reading. I even started a week in advance! That’s never happen before, sadly I read the wrong chapters. I started at the beginning of the book, but class started in the middle. Now you might be wondering what kind of class I’m talking about. This year I take “Introduction to metaphysics and the philosophy of consciousness”, “Functional programming” (which is about Scheme) and “Computational linguistics” (which is about common LISP). It was the philosophy class I started reading in advance, it’s really interesting.

Other then that I’ve started school I’ve been meeting new people, that’s always fun and interesting. I’ve also meet some old friends, one which  have been in China for the last semester. So it was really nice to meet her again. She had done something wonderful with her hair. So now she looks really cute.

So about now post Saturday and Sunday. Sorry about that. I’ve been away to my cabin with my brother, his wife and her sister. I originally hoped to chill out and read a lot about metaphysics and read the hundred page from ”Der Zauberberg” (The Magic Mountain) by Thomas Mann, but no. Didn’t get to read before Sunday, but it’s my fault. We had such a good time that I didn’t want to be boring and read. I’ve also found out that I’m not going to finish “Der Zauberberg”, it’s too boring. I also tried a new board game called “Mexican Train”, that was a lot of fun. So I’m putting it on my “to buy list”.

Not sure how often I will get to blog this week, but hopefully every day. At least I’ll post a video. Bye…

A busy exam time…

It is a busy exam time. As I’m trying to do everything else i usually do (and more) plus read for the double exam next time, I get less and less sleep. Too bad we are so needy about it. “Anywho”, started the day of with a call from my brother about how I should hook up my new Zune to my TV (which didn’t help, but more about it further down). Then I got up and ate breakfast. Nearly the best meal of the day, it’s hard to beat brinner! But I love me some slice of bread! So after that I went to school, but needed to stop by some shops on the way so ended up using nearly two hours wandering around looking at games. Bought “Mannen som elsket Yngve” and “Xgames Pro Boarder”. Starting to get a little stack of Playstation games now, more than twenty. Better start playing them soon. So finally I ended up on school. Started slowly on my test exam. They are so boring and hard. Why can’t test be more easy! I don’t take this course to learn, I just need the ten points. It wasn’t all boring at school on a Saturday, because after a while I went with a friend of mine to another building to make us some food. And after we where done, she wanted to heat her bun (no pun intended) for ten seconds, but she forgot all about it. So suddenly we heard a ding (as when the micro oven is done), and there where coming smoke out of the oven. The bun had taken fire! So then the fire alarm went of and thing when crazy! People where running around, throwing stuff, breaking windows! Some even started loathing! Nah, just kidding. The alarm did went of, but there where like three others in the building so no biggi. Sadly the firemen had to head out (jerk out didn’t quiet fit here). Since the room was “intoxicated” we switched building again.

Finally I got home, and I was planning to continue with the test exam, but no. Ended up reading the latest “GameReactor” and surfing ebay. There is a lot of awesome things to buy! After I’m done with the bloging I’m going to play some Modern Warfare 2!

So about the Zune HD hook up to my TV. First I thought I needed an usb recharger (which costed  around 20$) which I could hook up to the outlet. That didn’t work, so thought maybe I need an adapter, because _maybe_ the ac adapter that was with the docking station had some fancy stuff in it. So used another 18$, and that didn’t work out either. Then I finally did something clever and googled the problem. Found out that I only needed to restart the play when this problem I experienced occurred. Couldn’t someone told me this 38$ ago? Hopefully I learned my lesson.

Oh, btw… I now I’ve mention before that I love following links everywhere to see where it goes, and today I spent at least one hour doing just that going from one Norwegian blog to another. It started out that I tried this Twitter “test”, to find out who was my first follower (@tanketom for the link). Found out that it was @pumbaaa which I new. Then I started wondering who this person was (not the first time), so I started to look at pumbaaa followers. First I ended up here where I learned that “Sprite Lip smacker” tastes and smell like shit. Good to now. Did find out some other interesting things, but can’t find the link so sorry. Take a look at this either, wehearthit.com so ended up at a Hello Kitty store.

My brother linked me about an Island called Hashima. Just makes me wanna go to Japan even more!  Some more pictures here.
