Three thoughts of the evening

First thought: Every Monday I play squash, and today was no different. Game was fun, put this thought came while I was showering. Because some other dude had forgot his shampoo and body soap. So then I thought, is it okay if I borrow some? What if he entered while I was using his soap? I never found out, since the thought was so long and “deep”, that I was finished showering before I thought for myself, “go for it”. Maybe next time.

Second thought: This was while I waited for the subway after showering. Was on my way home. I spotted a cute girl on the other side of the track (first I thought it was my ex girlfriend, but no) listening to music. She was tapping her foot very gently and looking around. Girls are so sweet. “Anywho”, how cool would it been, if we where able to see what other people was listening too. Like a little text hovering over their heads or something. Would be awesome, and so much easier to pick girls up. “Hey, I see you like Sigur Rós too!”.

Third thought: Came while I was riding the tram (the subway never came) home, I was reading  “Der Zauberberg” (The Magic Mountain) by Thomas Mann (I was reading it in norwegian). This is a book I picked up because it was mention a lot in “Norwegian Wood” by Haruki Murakami (a very good book!). The main person reads it several times. I’ve also talked to my dad about it, and he said it is a classic which people should read. Sadly he hasn’t read it yet, so I thought I’ll borrow it at the library. Which I’ve now have done. I’ve read about 25 pages, and I don’t really like it. Maybe it’s to early to say anything about it yet. So aiming to read another 75 pages, before I decide to leave it or continue. I think it is too old for me. Not sure how to explain, but I’ve got a feeling.

This came in the mail

A lot happened today. First I wake up to find out someone have stolen my new squash shoes. So had to take my old ones to practice today. That sucks! Now I need to spend another 1000NOK on new shoes! Unfair, what have I done to karma to deserve that. Hum…

Luckily it got better at school. I finished my home exam in C, one day ahead. Cheers. Now I don’t need to stay at school all the day tomorrow. So now I can go and have dinner with my dad.

I also got three packages in the mail. Couldn’t guess any of them, and one was even marked with figurines. And I hadn’t bought that! So was tripping up the five floors so I could open them up! One was the third Sigur Rós album I won, second was Sega Superstar Tennis which I won in a competition over at Retro1.no.   BroboCop was the competition holder. Thank you! The last one was Record of Lodoss War. A great game for the Dreamcast. A bit rare, so I’m quiet happy with it.

And here is one of the Record of Lodoss War

I shop to much…

So, finally got around to take some pictures of my last round of stash I bought. Some is from Africa (guess you can see which) and some came in the mail. I bought the PSP on the airport with some game. Needed to have something to do there. Also got a boxed PS and a signed poster from Sigur Rós, but forgot to take pictures. Maybe next time. Also hoping to sort out my collection and take some nice pictures!

We play endlessly

Got my latest addition to my Sigur Rós collection today. The “We play endlessly” album, which is a collection given away free with the “The Independent”. The nine songs are picked from three different album, “Takk”, “Heima” and “með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust”. Listening to it now, and it’s a good collection. The funny thing is that I bought this CD, and on the back side it says “NOT FOR SALE”. We’ll, guess I did something illegal there. Three times I did, because I got this from ebay, and I had four different bids on four different actuion. And I won three of them. So still waiting for the two others. Hopefully coming this week. I’m also waiting on the latest album from Imogen Heap! Please come tomorrow!

On another occasion. I’ve been reading my brothers “Computer Arts” magazine, and I found a very easy “copy & paste” tutorial about how to make your own WordPress theme from a static HTML & CSS site! How cool isn’t that? So now I’m beginning to think about making a new theme. Making a new theme for my blog, is something I’ve been talking about very often. So don’t hold your breath, don’t even bet about me getting a theme done in the next month. But maybe if we’re lucky I’ll make a new Christmas theme. Can’t use this green one when the snow starts to fall!

Time goes by so fast!

I’ve been very little productive this week. I’m not done with the two N+ episodes, nearly done with one. Need some help from my girlfriend and she has been busy, so I blame here. I have though, posted a picture of the idea for the episode. Not the best picture, but you can probably see how hard it is.

Other news, I got my shoes yesterday. The look lovely! They are a bit strange to walk in, probably since they look a bit different in shape than my other shoes. Anyway some pictures after the jump. The on on the left is mine. I also love the boxes they came in. I also bought two new CD, Dream Theater – Falling into Infinity (have nearly all of them now!) and the new to Sigur Ròs, med sut i engrum vit spilum endalust (on englsih that means; With a buzz in our ears we play endlessly)
