Playstation 4

When the Playstation 4 came out last year (? or was it two years ago), I didn’t think that I would end up buying it, I felt that I had enough games, and I didn’t exactly feel the need for a new console. Then I learned this fall that Metanet Software was bringing the next generation N, named N++, after N+ (funny), to the Playstation 4, and as the fan I am, I knew that I now had to get me a Playstation 4 to play it. It was looking out to be one expansive game for me.

The plan was to wait for the release (which is sometime this year), but I tried Far Cry 4 on the Playstation 4 at my best buddy and I was convinced that I wanted Far Cry 4 and the Playstation 4 as soon as possible. So about a month and a half later I ended up with this!

The Glacier edition. I wanted something new and not the same old black console, as most of my other new consoles are. As my girlfriend wanted to play Last of Us I picked up that too, as the graphic on the Playstation 4 compared to the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360 is a lot better!

Two PS4 Games

I’m looking forward to these two PS4 games. The first is The Witness by Jonathan Blow, the creator of Braid (which I have not yet played). Looks very promising and I’ve been following the developer blog for some time now.

The second game is the new inFamous game. I loved the three previous ones, so hopefully this one will be as good or if not better. I’m curious how it will be to play as the new character. Plus I’m hoping we finally can learn to fly!

The had Killzone 3 Helghast Edition on sale on Gamestop, since it’s so big I just “had” to buy it. Looks good in my home made shelf next to Driver. Tested the game today and it felt like an okey shooter. Didnt quite understand the story, but maybe iill get a grasp about it later. We’ll see.

I also bought some new shoes. They are nice! Finally a pair a shoes with no holes in them.

PSN is up

PSN finally got back on it’s feet and is now up and running. So that means if you had an account made before 21 april, you can get your free games on! As I mention earlier I would go for Infamous and Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty. Haven’t tried the last one, but downloaded and installed (which took some hours) last night and it rocks! Sadly I have an exam to read for, so can’t play that much. Infamous is an sandbox-styled game where you can run around much like in Mirror Edge (just not first-person) and use every ledge as a spring board to something that is higher up. Other then that there are lightning attacks and a karma system which work something like this: “do something hard (good) or just kill a bunch of people (evil)”. So it’s not that much of karma system, then a “how good are you system”. I’m working on the good side. One sad thing with Infamous is the lack of multi-player. So no running around and jumping with your homies.

Free games!

Since PSN is soon recoverd. Sony is giving away free games to the owners. We can pick two from the PS3 list and two from the PSP list! Woho! I’m going for Infamous and Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty. Was thinking about Wipeout HD/Fury, but I’ll be likely to buy it over Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty. As I already have LittleBigPlanet for PSP I will go for Killzone Liberation and Pursuit Force on the PSP.

Two PS3 games from the following list:
LittleBigPlanet
Infamous*
Wipeout HD/Fury
Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty
Dead Nation*

For those with PSP accounts, you will also be eligible to download two PSP games from the following list:
LittleBigPlanet PSP
ModNation PSP
Pursuit Force
Killzone Liberation*

Boxed PSOne

Got my boxed PSOne today in the mail. It was a bit smelly when I opened up, guess it been stored away from a long time. Sorry for no photos from the inside, but opened while I was playing Modern Warfare 2. So no time for pictures then. Wonder where to place it, my corner shelf is getting kinda full. I also need to update my Collection page at this blog. It’s way outdated.

PS: I’ve got another cow, and I’ve started working on one too! Going for environmentalist cow. Green!

I shop to much…

So, finally got around to take some pictures of my last round of stash I bought. Some is from Africa (guess you can see which) and some came in the mail. I bought the PSP on the airport with some game. Needed to have something to do there. Also got a boxed PS and a signed poster from Sigur Rós, but forgot to take pictures. Maybe next time. Also hoping to sort out my collection and take some nice pictures!
